Please Note - NO CAMPAIGN FUNDS ARE used for collaborations or special events. Program collaborations and special events hosted by United Way of West Central Illinois are funded by additional grants, sponsorships, and partnerships secured by administrative staff (please see below). Community Impact Programming provides additional advocacy and support to both nonprofit service organizations and the community at large. Priority for these programs are fluid and are focused on the areas of literacy, the arts, family health and wellbeing, and community inclusion.

Expansion of community literacy support includes providing Imagination Library and Julie's Little Libraries in Warren, Knox, Henderson, and Mercer Counties. Currently, there are over 2,000 children in Warren, Henderson, and Knox Counties subscribed to Imagination Library! We have added Born Learning Trails in both Mercer and Warren Counties, with plans to install in Henderson and Knox Counties.

Providing a sense of belonging for everyone matters not only for every individual, but for our entire region. We continue to play a significant role in giving educational and translation support to area business and educational institutions in the area. Additionally, we extend multiple opportunities for learning and experiencing various cultures through special regional events and access.

In addition to providing support free of charge for prescription costs through SingleCare and Crisis intervention through 211, we seek out community partnerships for projects that focus on family health, citizenship, and opportunity access for everyone. This includes hosting events, including: Food Pantry Collections, Support Groups, and Workshops focused on Understanding One Another.
